Methane Leak Detection Upgrades Implemented with Infrared Sensing
New optical gas imaging technology deployed across all wellpads, achieving our target of zero venting.

LHOKSEUMAWE, ACEH — Underscoring our absolute pledge to environmentally responsible oil and gas operations, KAISAR has introduced state-of-the-art FLIR optical gas imaging cameras across all operational facilities in North Aceh.
These infrared imaging devices enable our teams to identify microscopic methane and vapor fugitive leaks that are invisible to the naked eye. This proactive inspection cycle allows immediate sealing of flange and pipeline seals, protecting our crew and ensuring that no unburnt hydrocarbons escape into the atmosphere.
The upgrade forms a core component of KAISAR's Methane Reduction Initiative, moving the company closer to its goal of a zero routine venting and flaring policy by 2028.
